Russia (bbabo.net), - Andrey Kochetkov, a leading analyst of the Otkritie Investments global research department, predicted the value of the dollar and the euro by the end of 2022. In his opinion, by the end of the year the dollar will cost about 70 rubles, and the euro - about 77.7, reports Prime.

At the same time, according to the analyst, the average annual exchange rate may be 68.6 rubles per dollar and 77.8 per euro. As Kochetkov explained, such a strengthening of the ruble is quite possible, if geopolitical upheavals do not happen.

According to the expert, the conditions for the strengthening of the ruble have already been formed - thanks to the monetary policy aimed at combating inflation, because of which the ruble has become one of the few currencies with a positive yield.

"If the tendency to weaken inflation begins to strengthen, then the strengthening of the ruble will take place in the first half of the year. If inflation continues to accelerate, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will be forced to raise the key rate again, but this will only temporarily postpone the start of the rally in the Russian currency," said Kochetkov.

Earlier, financial analyst Mikhail Vasilyev predicted that the average annual ruble exchange rate would be 75 against the dollar and 84 against the euro.
