The finance ministers of Ukraine and Russia, Natalia Yaresko, and, Anton Siluanov, will meet in Lima, Peru, in the coming days to discuss Ukraine's debt to Russia.

The meeting will be held with the mediation of German representatives at the summit of the Big Twenty. It's about three billion dollars which were granted to the ex-President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, in late 2013 and the term of payment on which matures in this year's December.

Earlier, Ukraine has agreed on debt restructuring with private creditors to write-off its fifth part, and the postponement of the payment of the rest. However, Russia has not joined this deal and asks to repay this sum at the time.

Representatives of the Ukrainian government have repeatedly stated that they will not agree to these demands of the Russian Federation.
