Russia - Social payments and maternity capital will increase from February 1

Russia (bbabo.net), - By order of the president, the government will index a number of monthly social benefits, lump-sum payments and the amount of maternity capital by 8.4 percent from next month. Another decision concerns the pandemic - citizens who have contraindications to vaccination will be able to receive a confirmation certificate through the public services portal. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The increase will affect families with children, the disabled, veterans, heroes of Russia and victims at work. "They are less protected and especially need state support," Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting on Thursday. The one-time allowance for the birth of a child, the monthly allowance for care, and the one-time allowance for transferring a child to a family will increase. The maternity capital paid at the birth of the first child will grow from almost 484 thousand to 524 thousand rubles, and for the second and subsequent children - up to 693 thousand.

“It is important that everyone who is entitled to such assistance receive it in a timely manner and in full,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized.

The government is taking a number of decisions in connection with the ongoing pandemic of a new coronavirus infection. Personal information about medical contraindications for vaccination will appear on the public services portal, and citizens will be able to receive a confirmation certificate. Medical organizations that issued a medical permit will send information about this to the unified state information system in the field of healthcare, and from there they will go to the public services portal. The data will be displayed in your personal account, in the "COVID-19 Immunization Information" section, where the results of PCR tests and antibody tests are also stored.

- The decision on the presence of contraindications is made only by doctors, having assessed the patient's condition and studied his medical history. In other cases, it is better to get vaccinated and protect your health,” Mikhail Mishustin recalled.

The spread of the new omicron strain has seriously increased the burden on the primary health care network: incidence rates are rising, people are more likely to seek treatment at polyclinics. For their stable work, the Cabinet of Ministers will send an additional 7.3 billion rubles to the regions. "Due to such funding, primary assistance will continue to be provided free of charge, under the MHI policy," the prime minister said. The Ministry of Health will control that the funds reach the territorial CHI funds promptly.

Funds have also been prepared for the regions to implement the government's strategic initiative "Business Sprint". It provides for the creation in cities and villages in the next eight years of the necessary sports infrastructure within walking distance. The subjects of the Federation use subsidies to build more than 80 modular gyms and almost 200 smart sports grounds in three years.

“These will be well-equipped places for sports, which are also provided with Internet access so that each of the visitors can, for example, build an individual workout and monitor the correctness of the exercises,” Mikhail Mishustin said. - For these purposes, within the framework of the Business Sprint project, the federal budget provides for more than nine billion rubles, of which almost 2.5 billion will be received by the constituent entities of the Russian Federation this year.
