Russia (bbabo.net), - In February, representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) will once again inspect Russian production sites where the Sputnik V vaccine is produced, the Ministry of Health said. This is required for international recognition of our product.

This was announced today by the Director of the Department of Medicines Circulation and Prequalification of WHO Rogerio Gaspar. He arrived in Moscow for a meeting with Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko to discuss the inclusion of our departments - the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Roszdravnadzor in the WHO Listed Authorities. In this case, the Russian side will also take part in the prequalification of medicines as part of the WHO commission, make a decision on the supply of medicines within the framework of UN programs.

During a previous visit in December, Rogerio Gaspar noted the constructive nature of cooperation between the Russian Ministry of Health and WHO. The regulators also agreed to start accrediting the Russian regulatory system for compliance with WHO requirements for the entire range of medical products in the first quarter of 2022.
