The approval of the main financial document of the Don capital for the next three years became the main agenda of the IX meeting of the Rostov-on-Don City Duma. Presenting the project to city parliamentarians, the head of the municipal treasury of Rostov-on-Don, Tatyana Asatryan, said that the city's budget revenues for 2022 are planned in the amount of 45 billion rubles, for 2023 - 59 billion, for 2024 - 44.

A significant increase in the parameters of the expenditure side of the budget in 2023, according to Tatyana Asatryan, is explained by the cost of 14.402 billion rubles for the modernization of the tram infrastructure. As a result, the budget deficit in 2022 and 2023 will amount to 1.8 and 0.9 billion rubles, respectively. But in the next year of the three-year period, a budget surplus of 135 million rubles is expected. The main source of filling the city treasury should be the own revenues of Rostov-on-Don

- In October 2019, we set the goal of increasing the municipality's own revenues to 15 billion rubles. Now they are more than three billion rubles more. And the more money goes to the budget, the more urban problems we can solve, - expressed confidence the city manager Alexei Logvinenko.

70 percent of the budget in 2022 is planned to be spent on social programs. In particular, it is planned to raise wages for all categories of teaching staff. The teacher's salary will increase by 50 percent. A new privilege will be introduced - a 50 percent discount on public transport for parents and guardians of invalids from childhood, as well as for Rostovites who retired early. Free hot meals will continue to be provided to all students in grades 1-4, children from low-income families and children with disabilities.

In addition, large-scale social projects will continue. The construction of three schools is planned for 2022. Six more will be overhauled. Two kindergartens and a polyclinic department of the city hospital No. 20 will be put into operation. In addition, it is planned to asphalt two times more than planned, dirt roads - 28 instead of 14.
