In the US, the Russian Su-34 was called the king of fast jet aircraft

The Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber has an amazing feature that was characteristic of military aircraft during the Cold War, but is successfully used by Russia today in Syria. This is stated in an article published by The Drive.

It's about the ability to carry massive amounts of fuel for a tactical jet. Thanks to this, in the event of a long-distance mission, refueling may not be necessary, even in the air.

In this regard, as The Drive notes, the Su-34 is "the king of fast jets when it comes to how much fuel it can get into the air."

The Su-34 fighter can store up to 12,100 kg of fuel in its internal tanks, and the aircraft can also carry up to three external external tanks PTB-3000. In total, the Russian military aircraft can have 19,300 kg of fuel, which exceeds the capabilities of the American F-15E Strike Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, the newspaper notes.

Earlier, the authors of The Drive wrote that the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Orion" has learned to destroy other drones and has become a real "killer of drones." They commented on last year's Orion tests in Crimea.
