But there are less than fifty cities in the Middle Urals, and thousands of villages and towns. Since January, even a settlement with several hundred courtyards has a chance to equip an embankment or a workout area. In general, create public spaces of a completely different quality.

- We have no global projects yet. My only dream is to make normal sidewalks in the village, so as not to walk on wooden flooring. Until now, the authorities have responded to requests for improvement that there is no money. But the residents of the village of Deevo, Alapaevsky District, were inspired by the new prospects for global projects. The population of Dejevo is a little less than a thousand people, but the idea of ​​transforming the small homeland has been exciting for many years.

- We have a lot of plans, - the head of the village administration Svetlana Dunaeva admitted to the correspondent. - Until now, as they could, they have been implementing our plans. First, at the general meeting, they chose the places that needed to be improved. We decided to use the possibilities of proactive budgeting: we raised money and started the reconstruction of the park, where the local relic is located - the pillar of worship, from where the deevtsy from olden times saw their fellow villagers off to the war. Then funds from the regional budget were added for a good deed.

Further - more, took up the vacant lot in the center of the village. And in this matter the district and the region helped with money. But they started with their own money, and in any planning, confidence in support is important.

Such assistance is now guaranteed. Territory improvement projects cost from 15 to 50 million rubles, depending on the number of residents. The money will be allocated from the regional and municipal budgets. Each plan must not only be agreed with fellow countrymen, but also be defended in a competitive selection.

The program for the formation of a comfortable urban environment has existed in the Sverdlovsk region since 2018. During this time, 658 public spaces have been renovated in the region, 393 of them are courtyards, the rest are playgrounds and sports grounds, pedestrian paths, squares and embankments.
