Ukraine asks EU to create a fund of remuneration of senior officials. The Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said this at a briefing after a meeting with US Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker, the "Ukrainian News" reports.

"We have asked our European friends to provide donor fund ... for wages and salaries for senior officials and those who can actually implement reforms in the country", - said the prime minister.

He noted that if the salaries remain low, a lot of civil servants will continue to take bribes.

According to Yatsenyuk, we also need to solve the problem of corruption in the justice system through a radical reform.

Yatsenyuk stressed that the successful implementation of reforms in this area will reduce the overall level of corruption in the country and attract foreign investment.
