Political parties have the right to receive annual funding from the state budget through the CEC. The regulation on the financing of political parties, including the calculation methodology, is approved by the CEC. The amount of appropriations for these purposes is approved in the annual budget law as a percentage of 0.1 percent of the state budget revenues, excluding targeted revenues provided for by the law, and is distributed according to the results of the parties' activities as follows:

30% - to political parties in proportion to the results obtained in the parliamentary elections;

30% - to political parties in proportion to the results obtained in the general local elections;

15% - to political parties in proportion to the results obtained in the presidential elections;

7.5% - to political parties in proportion to women actually elected in the parliamentary elections;

7.5% - to political parties in proportion to women actually elected in local elections;

5% - to political parties in proportion to the youth actually elected in the parliamentary elections;

5% - to political parties in proportion to the youth actually elected in local elections.
