Although a brief meeting was arranged at the place of detention between mother and son in December 2021, his state of health and the reasons for his arrest were never clarified, and subsequent contacts were limited, including with close relatives.

“It was noted that Citizen Adrian Glizhin is facing health problems that are aggravated by the inhuman conditions of detention, and the need to provide him with an independent doctor's consultation, who could also provide him with qualified assistance, was confirmed. Attention is drawn to the fact that in connection with the unlawful violation of the inalienable rights and freedoms of Adrian Glizhin, his individual case is being considered in the European Court of Human Rights and, accordingly, urgent measures are required to restore his violated rights and achieve positive results. institution release.

The appeal emphasized that Adrian Glizhin is a citizen of the Republic of Moldova and, in this regard, a petition was filed to transfer him to representatives of the competent law enforcement agencies on the right bank of the Dniester for investigation and taking appropriate measures on the alleged case initiated in the region, in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation.

Adrian Glizhin was arrested by representatives of the Ministry of State Security of the Transnistrian region on October 7, 2020.
