Poland has appointed its ambassador in Ukraine, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Marcin Wojciechowski.

This is stated in the message of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

"Today Minister Grzegorz Shetina presented the President's appointment of the new Polish ambassadors. Peter Stahanchik took a position in the United Nations Office in Geneva, and Marcin Wojciechowski will represent Poland in Ukraine", - was said in a statement.

"Polish-Ukrainian relations are now better than ever, but it does not mean that we should not work on them in all spheres", - said Shetina, referring to the new ambassador.

Marcin Wojciechowski had been serving as a representative of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since September of 2013.
