This attempt was unsuccessful - the negotiations of the deputies, which took place behind closed doors and lasted more than 2 hours, did not produce any result. The meeting was rescheduled for Tuesday, January 18, reports nokta.md

At the same time, on the voting day, on the second floor of the building of the NSG, where the negotiations were held, Vasile Bolea, a member of the Moldovan Parliament from the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, was noticed. Ivan Dimitroglo, leader of the BCS faction in the People's Assembly, said that Vasily Bolya did not take part in the negotiations.

Negotiations on the election of the speaker of the NSG are being conducted between several informal groups of deputies - supporters of Dmitry Konstantinov, Viktor Petrov, Demyan Karaseni and the faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists.

A candidate for the post of speaker must receive half of the votes of the elected deputies, that is, at least 18 votes.
