The EU is ready to co-finance the reform of civil service in Ukraine, but will not give money on the basis of promises.

This was stated by the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Johannes Hahn, in an interview with European truth.

"We will not fund until there will be no concept of reform. The Ukrainian government should finally understand it!" - He stressed.

"While Kiev will not understand it, we will not reach our goal. We need specifics, which is scarce now" - said the commissioner.

"This is exactly what we need to change in our relations with Ukraine. In the past, we often financed promises. It is a time when we are willing to finance only the result," - said Hahn.
