Arab coalition announces bombing of Yemeni capital

In response to the strikes of the Shiite movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) on the territory of the UAE, the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced the start of the bombing of the Yemeni capital Sanaa. It is reported by the channel Sky News Arabia.

Air strikes began to hit Sana'a. The coalition report notes that the strikes are aimed at "terrorist leaders" and are provoked by "military necessity."

Civilians were urged to stay away from military camps and Houthi gatherings for their safety. F-15 attack aircraft reportedly destroyed two ballistic missile launchers.

It has already become known about four victims of shelling and five wounded.

Earlier, Hussein's lawyer Bushra Khalil said that former Libyan and Yemeni Presidents Muammar Gaddafi and Yemeni Ali Abdullah Saleh allocated funds to fund a committee of defense lawyers for former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein based in Amman.
