The MP noted that according to the law, the registration of pets should be carried out from 2015, so the initiative is not new. "We just haven't seen the appropriate registration rules from the Ministry of Agriculture," he said.

According to him, animals are often lost, and it is impossible to bring to justice the people who throw them away, which is why there are many neglected four-legged animals on the streets of cities. In addition, it is also impossible to prosecute the owner of an animal that attacked a person.

In particular, it is precisely these problems that the legislative initiative is designed to solve. Burmatov also noted that he insists that registration should be free.
