The delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the People's Republic of China, led by General Xu Qiliang, has arrived with a working visit (April, 20-23) in Laos.

The visit aims to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries. General Xu Qiliang met with the President of Laos Choummaly Sayasone on the 21st of April.

He congratulated General Xu Qiliang for this visit, which will contribute to the development and strengthening of relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of national defense.

On this occasion, General Xu Qiliang expressly thanked Mr Choummaly for his warm welcome and informed him about main goals of the visit.
