Moldova - Radu Marian on the introduction of a state of emergency: I was disappointed with the attitude of the opposition

Moldova (bbabo.net), - If everything was as the opposition wanted, Moldova would be left without gas. This is the opinion of PAS MP Radu Marian, who expressed disappointment with the attitude of opposition representatives during the discussion and voting for the introduction of a state of emergency in the energy sector, tvrmoldova.md reports.

According to the people's choice, in such situations, those who are in power should be more united.

“We have a difficult situation, an energy crisis at the European, regional level. The prices are incredible everywhere. Given that we had this ultimatum from Gazprom, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the opposition, which does not understand the urgency of the situation.

If it had been the way they wanted, Moldova would have been left without natural gas. In a difficult situation, like in a family, one must be united, regardless of political differences or geopolitical landmarks, there must be solidarity, but there was none. They once again proved that the opposition does not want to give a single penny for the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova, for independence, for our path to reforms and fulfills certain orders.

We must go forward. Of course, no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, but it is very important that we are consistent and that we learn from this crisis, so that we have plans and alternatives. Apart from price, negotiations, contract and natural gas, the most important thing is that Moldova remains an independent country to be able to make decisions in its own interests, in the interests of European integration, reforms and, regardless of the contract, we must ensure that the Republic of Moldova remains among the democratic and free countries,” said the PAS MP.

Recall that yesterday, January 20, MPs voted for the introduction of a state of emergency (state of emergency) in the field of energy.
