The Guinean President Alpha Conde has revised the request of the opposition to change the election calendar while visiting the French capital.
President Condé reiterated that presidential elections would be held in October as it had been scheduled initially.
While the opposition announced Thursday for "nationwide demonstrations," President Condé still cherishes hope for a dialogue to defuse the political situation in Guinea.
"The government is open for a dialogue, we never refused the opportunity to negotiate", — said Mr. Conde.
