EAEU countries demonstrate high growth rates of mutual trade

Positive dynamics in mutual and foreign trade of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union was recorded in the EEC, BelTA informs on Friday. As for the growth of export volumes in mutual trade, it was recorded in all EAEU states: in Kazakhstan - by 35.3 percent, Russia - by 35.2 percent, Kyrgyzstan - by 30.4 percent, Armenia - by 27.4 percent, and in Belarus - by 24.8 percent.

The volume of foreign trade in goods in January-November 2021 among the EAEU countries amounted to $752 billion, including exports - $465.9 billion, imports - $286.1 billion. Compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 42.5 percent, and imports - by 22.8 percent.

In addition, the agency clarifies that in January - November last year, compared to the same period in 2020, export deliveries of goods to countries outside the EAEU from Belarus increased by 50.3 percent, from Russia - by 45.4 percent, from Kazakhstan - by 23 percent and Armenia - by 16.3 percent.

The main buyers of goods exported from the EAEU, according to the EEC, were the EU countries, whose share amounted to 42.2 percent of export supplies and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation - 28.6 percent. Among the countries in imports to the market of the union, China and F.
