Former US Ambassador to the OSCE James Gilmore said that Russia and "its satellite Belarus" should be excluded from the organization because of the situation around Ukraine. He expressed this opinion in his article for Foreign Policy.

“Measures should be taken to exclude Russia from all international organizations, starting with the OSCE. The OSCE supports the principles of the Helsinki Accords, among them the principle that no country will attack another across recognized borders.
