Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic spoke yesterday with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin about political and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Chepurin conveyed to Vucic the invitation from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to visit Moscow.

During the talks, it was noted that the upcoming exchange of high-level visits will significantly contribute to the improvement of relations between Serbia and Russia, given that a number of interstate agreements in the fields of social security, culture and other are being prepared.

They expressed the hope that Serbia’s presentation at Saint Petersburg’s Economic Forum will give a significant boost to cooperation in the fields of energy, automotive industry, agriculture, chemical industry, construction and tourism.
