Ukrainians were predicted a lump of disasters

Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said that Ukraine is accumulating a lump of catastrophes for the year ahead. He spoke about this on the air of the Nash TV channel.

According to him, Ukraine may pass the heating season, but high energy prices and other already accumulated problems make its industry uncompetitive, and within a year it will feel it.

“We are still living through a difficult cold time without these disasters, but we are accumulating this lump of disasters for the whole budget year,” says Ermolaev.

Earlier, the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Shostka in the Sumy region, Mykola Noga, said that the price of gas in the new heating season is "insane".

According to the mayor, in 2022 the heating season in the city is not easy.

“The heating season is extremely difficult, the price of gas is insane... Tariffs have remained the same, but additional payments for transportation and heating have been introduced,” Noga explained.

According to the head of the city, it is the problem around the cost of gas that now worries the population.

Noga drew attention to the fact that the combined heat and power plant (CHP) in Shostka is the most powerful in the Sumy region and is designed for serious loads.
