President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, following a meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said that the parties had discussed steps "to contain Russia." Broadcasted by RBC.

The head of state noted that the country received British missiles.

"Her Majesty's [The Queen's] Air Force transport planes have delivered thousands of advanced anti-tank missiles to Ukraine," Zelensky said.

Boris Johnson arrived on a visit to Kiev to discuss security issues and military-technical cooperation.

He took part in negotiations with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. The main topics of the meeting were security, ways of de-escalation, as well as military-technical cooperation.

It was also assumed that during the visit there would be an announcement on the creation of a new format of cooperation between Ukraine, Britain and Poland. But it was postponed indefinitely due to the fact that British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss contracted the coronavirus before her visit to Kiev. Kuleba explained that due to Truss's illness, the announcement of the creation of a trilateral format was postponed to a later date.
