On the 7th of May, Peter Poroshenko "on behalf of the Ukrainian people" showed gratitude to the heads of states, who decided not to visit Russia for celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He noted that Kiev also rejected Moscow’s invitation to join the parade on May 9.
