In an interview with Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko noted that Ukraine could join the Union State in 15 years.
Answering a question about the future of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Lukashenka admitted that some countries of the former USSR would join this association in the coming years: “You know, Belarus is already there. I think that there was a good lesson for Kazakhstan (meaning the January protests in country -). If you say - a period of 15 years, I am sure that Ukraine will be there if we do not make mistakes. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, I think, due to their economic necessity, will also join."
