Russia (bbabo.net), - Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov presented to the deputies of the Legislative Assembly a report on the work of the regional government in 2021 and tasks for the medium term.

The head of the region noted among the main achievements of the positive dynamics of the main indicators of the economy. According to a number of indicators, the region demonstrates growth rates above the national average. Thus, the index of industrial production grew by 9.8 percent (twice more than the average for Russia). The dynamics of the main industries is also higher than the all-Russian indicators, including in manufacturing - 109.3 percent (average for the country - 105.2 percent).

According to the report, more than two million square meters of housing were built in the region over the past year (3.1 percent more than in 2020). The Novosibirsk Region is again among the leaders in the Siberian Federal District and entered the top ten in Russia.

Andrey Travnikov paid special attention to the growth of investments in fixed capital - they will exceed 280 billion rubles. The average monthly salary of one employee grew by 10.7 percent. The number of small and medium-sized businesses increased by almost 4,000 to 143,000, and their turnover amounted to almost 2 trillion rubles.

- By the end of the year, the recovery of economic activity predetermined the growth of budget revenues to 237 billion rubles - 28 percent higher than in 2020. The level of own income amounted to 162 billion rubles, - said the head of the region.

At the same time, one and a half times more funds were received from the federal budget than expected.

- This is truly a development budget. The budget, which allowed us to allocate additional subsidies to municipalities several times during the year to solve priority financial and economic issues and maintain their financial stability, - Andrey Travnikov emphasized.

The head of the region thanked the deputies of the Legislative Assembly for their joint work with the regional government to adjust the budget during the year.

According to the decision of the regional government, an additional 750 million rubles were allocated to Novosibirsk in 2021 to put the road network in order. These funds are directed to the repair of 240 road facilities. In total, more than six billion rubles were allocated from the federal and regional budgets for the construction and repair of road facilities in the city last year.
