Russia and the US will take part in India's largest naval exercise at the end of February. Hindu reports.

Defense Department sources said both Russia and the United States have confirmed their participation in Exercise Milan 2022, which will take place from February 26 to March 4.

It is not known whether the countries will send their ships or will participate at the level of representatives of the fleets. In addition to the US and Russia, more than 30 other countries were invited.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus spoke about the flights of Russian and Belarusian fighters during the joint exercises of the two countries.

Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed a video for the Allied Resolve 2022 exercises. Russian-Belarusian maneuvers started on February 10 on the territory of Belarus.

The military of both countries will work out the tasks "to suppress and repel external aggression in the course of a defensive operation, as well as counter terrorism and protect the interests of the Union State," the ministry said.
