A young Chechen on trial for causing the death of a defenseless woman's killer gave an interview to the British Daily Mail newspaper and revealed the details of the tragic moments that made him a suspect in a serious crime.

Recall that in January, 41-year-old Englishman Leon McCaskey in the middle of the street attacked his 43-year-old ex-wife, Moroccan Yasmine Wafah Shkaifi, with a knife. A 26-year-old Muslim of Chechen origin, Ibragim, who was passing by, saw what was happening and directed his car at the attacker. Despite the young man's attempts to save the defenseless woman from an armed criminal, she died from her stab wounds. But McCaskey also died - injuries from a car collision turned out to be incompatible with life. The 26-year-old driver of the car was arrested and charged with murder.

According to Ibrahim, an electrician by profession, when he saw an attack on an unarmed woman, he stepped on the gas and sent the car to the criminal to neutralize him. The car hit the attacker, he fell, but when the guy took his foot off the gas pedal, the car did not stop immediately and managed to lift McCaskey under him.
