Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced the discovery of mass graves in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, RIA Novosti reports.
Presumably, the remains of the Azerbaijani military, who are listed as missing, are buried in the graves.
Earlier, the Armenian authorities relieved themselves of the obligation to inform Baku about the places of mass graves of the Azerbaijani military who died during the first Karabakh war.
Bayramov did not name the exact number of discovered bodies, while noting that "thousands of people" are out of the question.
He added that Armenia, "who committed these deeds," knows better than anyone else about these graves.
The minister added that the Azerbaijani side will continue search operations in Karabakh.
