According to the legend of the exercises, the combat crews of the air defense of the Eastern Military District during combat duty as part of the Unified Regional Air Defense System of the Union State detected an approaching mock air target that did not respond to requests. "To intercept it, at the command of "Air", duty fighters were raised. After takeoff, Russian pilots carried out the capture and conditional destruction of an air target, and also worked out the tasks of air patrolling along the border of the Union State," the ministry explained.

As SOYUZ has already informed, on the eve of Russia and Belarus began joint maneuvers "Allied Resolve-2022", which will last until February 20. Units of the Eastern Military District with standard weapons arrived in Belarus to participate in joint maneuvers.

Moscow and Minsk confirmed that the Russian military would return to their permanent deployment centers after the exercises.
