Russian peacekeepers held exercises with firing in Nagorno-Karabakh

Russian peacekeepers conducted exercises with firing, including the BTR-82A, at the training ground in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The message of the military department says that on the track of the tankodrome, the crews of armored personnel carriers worked out the standards for driving, overcoming obstacles at high speeds over rough terrain and fired from the standard weapons of the BTR-82A at single and group targets.

The Russian contingent also performed small arms fire training exercises. About 10 units of military and special equipment were involved in the classes.

It is reported that Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation at 27 observation posts around the clock. They control the ceasefire.

According to the agreements that were signed in a joint statement by the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared since November 10, 2020.
