Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov compared Ukraine's statements that a direct dialogue with Donetsk and Luhansk is allegedly not provided for by the Minsk agreements with the propaganda of Joseph Goebbels. He said this after a meeting with British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, TASS reports.

“Rejecting what is approved by the UN Security Council and written down in black and white, and at the same time not worrying at all about the fact that London, Paris, Berlin or Washington will retract it, is a position quite comfortable for demagogues who are now defending their case, trying to rewrite the Minsk agreements,” the Russian diplomat said.

On February 10, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss arrived in Moscow for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the situation around Ukraine. The next day, also in the Russian capital, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace is to meet with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Earlier, Lavrov said that London and Moscow interpret the Minsk agreements differently.
