Znak: Zhirinovsky can't breathe on his own

LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky is connected to a ventilator, Znak.com reports, citing sources. According to the publication, the doctors disconnected the politician from the nasal cannula, as he could no longer breathe on his own.

“The condition is not improving yet, yesterday he could breathe, today [he] cannot,” one of the sources said.

According to Znak.com, Zhirinovsky was not immediately connected to a ventilator, as the doctors feared that it would no longer be possible to remove the politician from the apparatus later.

Information about the hospitalization of the LDPR leader appeared on February 9. According to various media reports, the politician is in serious condition with bilateral pneumonia. Estimates of Zhirinovsky's lung involvement range from 30% to 75%. At the same time, the party claims that the politician feels fine.

Earlier it was reported that the Kremlin wished Zhirinovsky a speedy recovery.
