The Russian Ministry of Defense showed a video for the Russian-Belarusian exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022". It is reported by Sputnik Belarus.

The footage shows firing from anti-aircraft missile systems and tanks, missile launches, exercises with paratroopers, maneuvers of fighters in the air, and so on.

The exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022" started on February 10 on the territory of Belarus.

The military of both countries will work out the tasks "to suppress and repel external aggression in the course of a defensive operation, as well as counter terrorism and protect the interests of the Union State," the ministry said.

The maneuvers will take place at five Belarusian training grounds (Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brest and Osipovichsky) and in separate areas of the area. The event will last until February 20.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus are taking place against the backdrop of unprecedented threats to the national security of the two countries.
