Russian crews of the S-400 Triumph air defense system as part of the Unified Regional Air Defense System of Russia and Belarus took up combat duty in the Brest region during an inspection of the response forces of the Union State. According to the military department, the military personnel "began to carry out tasks to control the airspace in the established area of ​​​​responsibility."

On February 10, the Russian-Belarusian exercise "Allied Resolve - 2022" began in Belarus.

The military of both countries will work out the tasks "to suppress and repel external aggression in the course of a defensive operation, as well as counter terrorism and protect the interests of the Union State," the ministry said.

The exercise will take place at five Belarusian training grounds (Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brest and Osipovichsky) and in separate areas of the area. The maneuvers should last until 20 February.
