His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam paid a two-day State Visit to the State of Kuwait on May 18-19.

His Majesty received courtesy calls and granted audience at separate occasions to a number of dignitaries of the State of Kuwait including His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; His Highness Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait; His Excellency Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Speaker of National Assembly of the State of Kuwait; Cabinet Ministers as well as senior officers of the government of the State of Kuwait.

The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the State of Kuwait, while exchanging views on matters of common interests and mutual concerns.

His Majesty and His Highness witnessed the Signing Ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Investment.
