Russia (bbabo.net), - The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted exercises near the border with Crimea, during which they practiced deploying in positions and aiming Uragan multiple launch rocket systems at targets of a mock enemy. This was reported on February 2 by the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Scheduled field trainings were held in conditions as close as possible to combat ones," the statement said.

According to the commander of the joint forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Sergei Naev, such exercises "work out a certain algorithm of actions for military personnel in combat work in position during firing."

At the end of January, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted maneuvers using units of Msta-B howitzers in the Kherson region, also not far from the border with Crimea. Then targeting was corrected with the help of drones.
