Trump wanted to look at the transcript of a telephone conversation between Biden and Zelensky

Former US President Donald Trump said he was interested in what was discussed during a telephone conversation last week, the current US leader Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The politician said this in an interview with Newsmax TV channel.

“It would be interesting to see (a transcript of this - ed.) call. I suspect the call was something like what they say. It won’t change anything… But it will be really interesting to see him,” said the ex-president.

The conversation between Zelensky and Biden took place on January 28. During the dialogue, a number of topics were touched upon, in particular, the leaders discussed the defense of Ukraine. According to CNN sources, the presidents allegedly did not agree on the threat of a Russian “invasion”.

Later, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova denied this information. She stressed that "there is no friction" between the two countries, and relations between Ukraine and the United States, especially over the past year, have been "at the highest level in the last 30 years."

Since the autumn of last year, the Western media, as well as in Ukraine, have been claiming that Russia is allegedly preparing a “large-scale invasion” of Ukraine. In Moscow, such allegations have been repeatedly rejected.
