Russia (bbabo.net), - Russia will take part in the next Olympic Games with its own flag and paraphernalia. This hope was expressed by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

At the request of journalists, he commented on the words of IOC member Richard Pound, who suggested that Moscow take a timeout for several Games to deal with the topic of doping.

"We believe that Russia is fulfilling all its obligations. We perform without a flag and an anthem. This is the final Olympics when such a practice is applied," Peskov stressed. "We hope that from the next Olympic cycle we will enter a normal full-fledged national participation regime," he said.

"Russia has always been a responsible member of the Olympic family and fully adheres to the ideas of Olympism," the presidential press secretary concluded.
