Russia (bbabo.net), - Sergei Grekov resigns as mayor of Ufa. In his place, the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, proposed the candidacy of the former mayor of the city of Neftekamsk, 32-year-old Ratmir Mavliev.

As Radiy Khabirov said at an operational meeting in the regional government, today at an extraordinary meeting, the deputies of the Neftekamsk City Council prematurely terminated the powers of Ratmir Mavliev, who had been the head of the city administration since March 2019.

- I offered Ratmir Mavliev to head the administration of Ufa, - said Khabirov. - Today at 17 o'clock a meeting of the City Council will be held, where the decision to appoint Mavliev as acting head of the administration of Ufa will be considered.

According to the head of the region, Sergei Grekov will head the plenipotentiary representation of Bashkortostan in Moscow in the rank of vice-premier of the government of the Republic of Belarus.
