Russia (bbabo.net), - This year, work will be carried out on the comprehensive improvement of Konyushkovskaya Street. Pyotr Biryukov, deputy mayor in the Moscow government, told reporters the details:
“Previously, Novinsky Boulevard, Novy Arbat and Krasnaya Presnya streets, the squares near the Barrikadnaya and Krasnopresnenskaya metro stations were improved,” said Petr Biryukov. “The renovation of Konyushkovskaya Street will allow us to complete the overall improvement of this quarter.”
The street will become more comfortable for pedestrians, while maintaining a transit function. The sidewalks will be widened by reducing the width of traffic lanes.
A new ground crossing with an additional traffic light will be organized in the area of Maly Konyushkovsky Lane. On a wide square along the football field, places of rest will be made: benches and information boards will be placed. They will also install modern stops with charging slots and new lights with energy-efficient lamps.
At the final stage of the project, landscaping will be carried out on Konyushkovskaya Street. Trees and shrubs will be planted along the roadway, and the total area of the lawn will be increased.
All existing green spaces are planned to be preserved. For them, a special program of care and improvement will be carried out.
