In the meantime, residents of Penza complain about snowdrifts even to the police. 73 materials have already been documented. 785 thousand rubles of fines will be paid by the Penza "managers" only for January. In St. Petersburg, 19 criminal cases were opened for not cleaning the city from snowdrifts. In the Saratov region, the police are investigating three criminal cases on snow removal fraud in Saratov, Engels and Balakovo. But courts in such cases last a very long time - as a rule, a year or two, a correspondent was told in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court. This is due to the fact that the institutions responsible for cleaning roofs and sidewalks do not want to admit their guilt in any way, and the victim has to painstakingly collect evidence in order to protect himself, even with all the evidence of what happened.

A similar incident occurred in Yekaterinburg, when a block of packed snow fell on an elderly woman right from the city hall building. But after the video from the surveillance camera was found, the mayor's office was forced to admit that the woman was right even before the trial.
