“The attackers are calling party members, posing as employees of the Central Office of the Liberal Democratic Party and saying that Vladimir Zhirinovsky has died. We officially declare - this is a lie! - specified in the document sent to fellow party members.

Anyone who receives a call about Zhirinovsky's death has been asked to record the calls for further investigation.

In turn, the party's lawyers have already turned to law enforcement agencies due to the dissemination of false information about the death of Zhirinovsky.

On February 9, it became known that Zhirinovsky was hospitalized with a coronavirus infection. Various media reported that he was in serious condition with bilateral pneumonia. Politician lung involvement estimates range from 30 to 75%.
