“Given the deteriorating security situation caused by the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine, the government has ordered the departure of the Australian Embassy in Kiev and temporarily stopped the work of our embassy in Kiev,” the Australian Foreign Ministry said.

Also, in a statement, Australian citizens were again recommended to immediately leave Ukraine and clarified that a temporary representation of Australia would be located in Lviv.
