MII will resume issuing state diplomas

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The Moscow Islamic Institute, one of the main Russian theological universities, is resuming the process of issuing state diplomas.

In August 2020, Rosobranadzor suspended the activities of the Moscow Islamic Institute on the basis of previously identified violations, which, as noted at the MII, the university was unable to eliminate in a timely manner due to protracted repairs. About two months later, the department issued an educational license to the university. It happened just in time for Teacher's Day.

On Friday, February 11, it became known that MII graduates will again begin to receive state diplomas this year.

Based on the results of the examination, the department came to the conclusion that the main educational programs of the university (bachelor's and master's programs) correspond to state standards in the direction of "Theology".

“This means that after the issuance of the relevant order of Rosobrnadzor, starting from the current academic year, our university will resume issuing state diplomas,” said Damir Mukhetdinov, rector of the MII.
