Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that he sees no prerequisites for a large-scale Russian invasion on February 16-17, RIA Novosti reports.
He stressed that the situation is "absolutely under control", the security and defense sector of Ukraine is ready for any challenges.
Danilov also noted that in this regard, Ukraine is not discussing the closure of airspace and ports. He urged journalists not to sow panic. Danilov also said that currently there are 23 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada abroad.
Meanwhile, a day earlier, Strana.ua reported that Ukraine would close its airspace from February 14.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on Ukrainians who left the country to return within 24 hours. He stressed that he also considers the departure of diplomats from a number of countries to Western Ukraine erroneous.
