Kadyrov called Russians and Ukrainians one people who should not fight

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, reminded the Ukrainians and Russians that historically they are one people, and it makes no sense for them to fight each other. The politician wrote about this Telegram channel.

He also called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to comply with the Minsk agreements and do everything possible to prevent hostilities. At the same time, the Chechen leader emphasized that his appeal is simply the personal opinion of a Russian citizen.

“Mr. Zelensky! The time for clowning has come to an end. The hour has come to fulfill one's duty to one's own people in order to avoid irreversible consequences. That is, today, more than ever, there is a need to implement the Minsk agreements, which are signed not only by the President of Russia, but also by the President of Ukraine,” Kadyrov wrote.

He also addressed the Ukrainian people.

“My dears! I love Ukraine and its good people... the cradle of Russian statehood and Orthodoxy is Kievan Rus. Russians and Ukrainians are one Slavic people, with a common history, culture and religion. I will never believe that Ukrainians consider themselves part of the so-called “Western world” with all its degenerate “values” and Russophobic hysteria,” said the head of Chechnya.

He expressed the opinion that the current Kiev authorities are trying to do everything in order to "erasure this sense of community" in ordinary Ukrainians.

Earlier, Kadyrov called the statement on the accession of Ukraine his personal opinion.
