The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in her Telegram channel joked about the mass departure of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the country.

The diplomat published a photograph of the scoreboard from the Rada, which says that now there are 216 deputies in the hall. At the same time, there are 450 mandates in the Ukrainian parliament, of which, according to the official website, 423 are currently occupied.

“Half of the deputies of the Rada, not sparing their lives, moved to defend Ukraine in Europe. To, coming from the rear, pierce the back of the aggressor. Until Russia attacks, they use the respite to good use - they are digging something: either trenches, or caches, ”Zakharova joked.

The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada who managed to leave Ukraine (and there are 23 of them, according to the National Security and Defense Council) should return within 24 hours. In his opinion, it is the parliamentarians who should show how important unity is.
