The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security (TSSKIB) of Ukraine announced a DDoS attack on the websites of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, RIA Novosti reports.
The website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stopped working on February 15. Representatives of the department did not comment on the situation.
The websites of Privatbank and Oschadbank also stopped working. As PrivatBank spokesman Oleg Serga explained, “temporary difficulties” arose in the authorization of clients, when calling the contact center, an audio message is turned on about interruptions in the work of the organization due to “unstable operation of communication channels.”
“Our specialists are already working on them. We hope that they will promptly restore the work of services. Now we are figuring out the reasons for the failures and we will report them separately when we clear everything up, ”the Politics of the Country Telegram channel reports.
Earlier, the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, reported a DDoS attack on his official website, he blamed Russian hackers for this. Also on the night of January 13-14, the websites of the Ukrainian government, the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Veterans, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the State Treasury were blocked.
