Lavrov, in a conversation with Blinken, declared the inadmissibility of the aggressive rhetoric of the United States

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, noted the inadmissibility of aggressive rhetoric.

“Lavrov emphasized the inadmissibility of the aggressive rhetoric whipped up by Washington and its closest allies, calling for a pragmatic dialogue on the entire range of issues raised by Russia, with an emphasis on the principle of the indivisibility of security,” the publication on the Russian Foreign Ministry website says.

The minister also stressed the need to continue joint work, which the presidents of Russia and the United States had previously agreed on.

The last time Lavrov and Blinken spoke was on February 12. Then the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry told the Secretary of State that the Western information campaign against Russia could eventually lead to a war in the Donbass. In addition, Lavrov pointed out that the United States did not agree to implement the key provisions of the security guarantees offered by Russia.

Later that day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the request of the White House, spoke by phone with his American counterpart Joe Biden about the Ukraine crisis.
